Willard H. Lalone

September 5, 1935 - January 23, 2010

Funeral services for Willard H. Lalone, age 74 of State Hwy 37 Lisbon, will be held on Wednesday (January 27, 2010) at 1:00pm at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home with Rev. Sue (Hunter) Parisian officiating. Burial will be in the spring at White Church Cemetery in Lisbon.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the funeral home. Mr. Lalone passed away on Saturday (Jan 23, 2010) at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center surrounded by his family.

Surviving is his twin brother Willis Lalone of Lisbon; a sister Beverly Hunter & her husband Arthur of Lisbon, nieces Sue Parisian of Fulton, NY, Arlene Stern of NJ, Joyce Schneider & her husband Michael of Jamesville, NY; nephews Thomas Hunter of Lisbon and Joseph, David & Lawrence Barber of Ogdensburg.

A sister Waverly Barber predeceased him.

Willard was born on September 5, 1935 in Madrid, NY, a son of the late Olga H. & Juanita M. (Bemis) Lalone. He graduated from Lisbon Central High School and co-owned and operated the family farm with his brother Willis for many years.

He enjoyed playing cards, cooking, gardening, hunting and traveling to see family. Memorial contributions have been requested to the Ogdensburg Volunteer Rescue.
